ASEMEP provides support to member-companies in benchmarking manufacturing activities, technical trainings and strategic planning. It hosts the annual National Technical Symposium aimed at showcasing technical expertise of SEIPI semiconductors and electronics engineers. The group is likewise pursuing a strong and active
Academe-Government-Industry Forum to help shape a more relevant technical and engineering education curriculum

Under ASEMEP are four (4) Community of Practices (COPs) whose objective is to foster intellectual exchange between different engineering practices in the semiconductor and electronics industry.

These are:

  • Semiconductor and Electronics Training Council (SETC)
  • ASEMEP ESD Council (AEC)
  • ASEMEP Quality and Productivity Council (AQ&PC)
  • Council of Failure Analysis and Reliability (CFAR)

Vision
Create ENABLED manufacturing engineers in the semiconductor and electronics industry. Engineers Networked to achieve Advanced technology Breakthroughs that would Lead to Economic and social Development.

Mission
To keep our fellow engineers abreast with the technological development both in local and foreign endeavors. To promote and participate in programs supportive of both industry and national interest, particularly in technical skills development, industry-academe linkage and corporate social responsibility. To be the preferred venue and forum where engineers can share their technical competence. To enable community of practices that will foster intellectual exchange.
