2024 – ASEMEP Q4 General Membership Meeting

The registration is still ongoing for our ASEMEP Q4 General Membership Meeting on November 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 4:10 PM, at Western Digital Storage Technologies (Philippines) Corporation Training Center, 109 Technology Ave., SEPZ, Laguna Technopark, Biñan City, Laguna, Philippines. This is open to SEIPI Members & Non-members.

This exciting event, organized by SEIPI and ASEMEP in partnership with Western Digital Corporation, is open to both SEIPI members and non-members! Don’t miss out on three insightful presentations:

• Mr. Eric Teoh Chinhoe will present “Western Digital: AI-Powered Future Factory”, showcasing the journey of Western Digital’s Philippine Head Operations (PHO) as it transforms into an AI-driven Future Factory. The presentation will highlight the company’s commitment to maintaining world-class facilities and fostering exceptional employee engagement while embracing cutting-edge AI technologies.
• Mr. Ernesto “Boogie” C. Boydon will present “AI-Enabled Factories and the Future of Semiconductor Manufacturing”. His presentation will begin with an overview of artificial intelligence’s evolution and its recent advancements in the semiconductor industry. He will discuss how AI is powering the shift toward fully automated, “lights-out” factories, enhancing productivity, cost-efficiency, and product quality. Additionally, Mr. Boydon will address the implications of AI-driven automation on the labor force and provide insights into how the industry can effectively navigate these changes for a smooth transition.
• Dr. Magdaleno Vasquez Jr. will present “Leveraging Intellectual Capital for Technological Advancement: A Pathway to Empowerment”. He will explore how harnessing intellectual capital can drive technological innovation and empower businesses and communities to thrive in the digital age.

The meeting will also cover ASEMEP 2024 Projects and Priorities and conclude with a tour of Western Digital’s facilities.
