ASLM is SEIPI’s committee in charge of facilitation movement of goods, with main lobbying efforts towards simplifying procedures in the Bureau of Customs and PEZA. Its vision is to make the Philippines the benchmark country in Asia in trade facilitation. It’s mission is to enhance the global competitiveness of the industry, through the simplification of import and export rules and regulations towards the improvement of trade facilitation thereby reducing the transit and cycle time of finished goods and cost of doing business in the Philippines.
